Welcome here! I’m thrilled you’ve stopped by, here’s a little bit of my story and hopefully I’ll know some of yours soon too!
Birth Doula [ & your local birth nerd ]
After binge watching Call the Midwife at 19 years old. I stumbled upon my first doula training opportunity! Within less than a year I had my first birth, I was hooked.
Since then I’ve travelled all over. Studying Midwifery in Hawaii to helping deliver babies in the Philippines! Perhaps your birth will be my next adventure?
After a few years, Sweet Peace Doula the name & official doula business was born, in 2019! We launched with big dreams and goals for the future. Sweet Peace Doula comes from the scripture “I will extend peace to her like a river…”.
From then until now I have worked with almost 40 families. Some as a doula, others within the clinic setting in the Philippines. I also had an amazing opportunity while living in Ontario to work with a doula collective which taught me so much.
Being back in BC where it all began running my solo practice is a dream come true!

Check out my blog from my time in the Philippines! Not only was I helping catch babies, but was 3 months into my engagement planning my wedding!
I had the opportunity to not only work at a clinic, but travel north to this remote village pictured here. Cross that wildly high bridge to deliver prenatal care to local mothers.
A time of my life I will never forget!
